A big thank you to everyone that has taken part in the N.E.W Challenge Cup Competition this season 2025-26.

The N.E.W Cup and Plate Finals took place on Friday 20th March at Deeside LC.

Cup: Eros Cup 1 [-5] v Llanferres Cup 1 [Scr]

Plate: Prestatyn Cup 1 v Prestatyn Cup 4

 

Congratulations go to Eros Cup 1 team for winning the Cup. The end score was 13-5 but it was an exciting event with lots of long rallies and close games 21-20, 21-19, 21-18. Very enjoyable to watch all of the strong and talented players.

 

Congratulations also go to Prestatyn who had 2 teams in the Plate Finals. Prestatyn Cup 1 beat Prestatyn Cup 4 with an end score of 16-2 and again it was good to see a number of 21-20’s as well as a 21-19 and a 21-18. So all of the Prestatyn players (minus their injured Cup 4 captain Dom who was unable to play in the final) all played well.
