N.E.W Masters Nationals Success

A brilliant day was had in Swansea on Saturday 9th May for the 2026 Masters Nationals.

15 North East Wales Masters players spanning all age groups ascended on the LC2 Sports Centre for a gruelling day of badminton which began at 8:30am and didn’t finish until 10:30pm! It was the largest ever entry with 139 players and over 161 matches.

In a rather warm sports hall the standard of play was very high and the North East Wales players came away with multiple successes across all age groups.

Congratulations to all players who took part and in particular the medal winners. Full results can be found here: https://badmintonwales.tournamentsoftware.com/tournament/D489383D-5C26-4550-AC85-010831FF6C9E
